Sunday, September 14, 2003 ::: went to church together we ate we talked during lunch mum's eating the leftovers afternoon sleep sth that my mum always encourages me to do my dad's advice on how i should study the cup of honey a candy bar the offer of drinks and food and snacks... my mum wants me to be happy while studying i talked on the mobile phone the stereo was on she turned the volume down and she was smiling at me she didn't even blame me for listening to the hifi and talking on the phone while studying although i knew she wanted me to really concentrate she trusted me watching my bro playing backgammond he was having a good time playing and i was having a good time watching him play he didn't win, but he was calm and he treated this failure with a smile he's grown up, a lot daddy was studying but then just 1 request from me just 1 he immediately offered to help without grumbling, he was happy to help his books were piling up but he didn't mind squeezing half an hour for me well i thought, what would i do if i were him - could i be this nice my sister came back i opened the door sis was happy to be back and we were happy to see her back she was holding an umbrella, soaked the dinner as usual, there was a lot of talking going on some words were said too many times but then every bit was sweet mummy prepared fruits for the whole family tailor-made, she asked each of us what we want and she's always the last to choose and usually she gets what's left she doesn't mind, at all grandma wasn't here for dinner but saw her leaving the house for MJ with her friends she was happy and she's so cute small sis in america she's touring around haven't talked to her for a while but i know she's happy and i'm happy for her i miss u, small sis i realize i'm always too blind to notice all the small things i've always been surrounded with love yet i didn't feel the candy the cup of honey so sweet yet the time was wrong my family has given me everything they give, i take i don't reciprocate what did I give in return? perhaps not enough i love my family too much i can never do anything to hurt them i cannot even afford to do it once again Now playing: Hilary Duff - Come Clean lyrics from Savage garden's Affirmation "I believe we place our happiness in other people's hands I believe your parents did the best job they knew how to do I believe I'm loved when I'm completely by myself alone I believe you can't appreciate real love until you've been burned I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye I believe your most attractive features are your heart and soul I believe that family is worth more than money or gold" an affirmation of my own the wisdom simple, but true ::: posted by Wings at 9/14/2003 05:17:00 AM
